“With the stroke of a pen on Day 1, we will stop the transgender madness,” Trump announced to cheers. “And I will sign executive orders to end child mutilation and ban transgender people from the military and from our elementary, middle and high schools.”

“And we’re going to keep men out of women’s sports. And that will also happen on the first day. Should I do Day 1, Day 2 or Day 3? How about day 1? Under the Trump administration, it will be official.” The US government’s policy is that there are only two genders – male and female. That doesn’t sound too complicated, does it?”

“We will not have men in women’s sports, that will be over immediately,” he said at the time.
