Aside from all the cool action scenes and scary creatures, it’s one of the best things ever Buffy the Vampire Slayer was the romantic melodrama with our favorite characters. In their own way, BuffyThe naughtiest pair of Xander and Willow were childhood best friends who only realized their feelings for each other when they both started dating other people. This led to a messy affair that apparently spilled over into the real world: According to Willow actor Alyson Hannigan, she and Xander actor Nicholas Brendon once had a relationship.

The revelation that this is naughty Buffy The couple first met in real life when Hannigan appeared on the Bravo TV show See what’s happening live. However, only a few Buffy Fans may deny that Hannigan and Brendon’s characters make a cute couple during their naughty little affair. Part of this was, of course, due to the show’s clever writing, but part of it was also due to the killer chemistry between the actors. It sounds like the chemistry led to a kiss and maybe something more: In the interview with Cohen, Hannigan followed up the bombshell admission that he had kissed Brendon in real life by casually declaring, “He might have one.” Had breasts or something.”

She emphasized that this was because Gellar was balancing these acting duties with a burgeoning movie career and the pressures of fame, but her words led to years of rumors that Hannigan and Gellar had a nasty and ongoing feud.

Hannigan eventually married Alexis Denisof, who guest-starred in the film Buffy as Wesley Wyndam-Pryce, before becoming a regular on the spin-off show angel. From fooling around with her on-screen fling partner to marrying a dapper and proper guard, Hannigan seems to emulate Willow in one important way: she’s very rarely naughty.
