Outdoor workouts to try in the summer


Summer is the perfect time to get your workouts outside and get some vitamin D, girlfriend!

You can take any of your own The MOVE app workouts outside, from your Sweat Sesh to the Daily 10 or try these suggestions!

The best outdoor workouts for summer:

1. Morning Yoga

Start your day off right with a relaxing yoga session in the park or in your backyard. Find a quiet spot, roll out your mat, and relax and listen to the sounds of nature.

2. Beach Walk

Beach walks are the perfect way to distract yourself from what’s happening right now. Take 10-30 minutes for a walk on the beach, just by yourself (with some headphones in and your favorite playlist or podcast) or walk with your girlfriend and catch life!

3. HIIT training

Take your high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to the beach for an extra challenge. The soft sand will work your muscles harder and the ocean breeze will keep you cool. HIIT workouts are great for burning calories and improving cardiovascular fitness.

A little challenge:

How to Get Out of a Fitness Funk


Feeling stuck in your fitness routine or starting to feel unmotivated? Don’t worry, it happens.

And, the first step is being aware of it, so you’re already on your way to getting back on track + regaining your strength! We are here to help!

5 tips to help you find your motivation again:

1. Mix up your routine

Try changing things up by trying one of our new workout videos The MOVE appgoing for a walk or simply taking your own MOVE to get some fresh air and vitamin D outside of training.

2. Check with Your Accountability Group

Checking with yours responsibility group or close friends and family can help keep you motivated + accountable on this health and fitness journey. Share your struggles, goals and successes with them. Let them help you focus when you feel unmotivated.

3. Training with my girlfriend

Working out with your girlfriend or family can make your workouts more fun and you’ll be ready to do it with someone who does it with you. Schedule regular workout dates with a friend or family member to keep up with each other. Having it with you will help keep you accountable and motivated.

4. Long Distance LSF Babe

Even most girls The LSF community living in different cities, states, and countries, working with a long-distance LSF baby can provide you with a virtual workout buddy that will help keep you motivated and engaged. You can schedule your training time at the same time to make it more fun + to motivate each other!

5. Set small, achievable goals

Instead of focusing on one big, overwhelming goal, break it down into smaller, more achievable micro goals. Celebrate your progress along the way and use those small victories to keep you motivated and on track.

Remember: It’s normal to have ups and downs in your fitness journey. It’s important not to give up when you start to lose some motivation and drive. Use these tips to get out of your fitness funk and get back on track to achieving your goals.

3 fast ways of debloating after the holiday

How to know if a trainer is legit.


If you’ve scrolled through Instagram, YouTube, or Tik Tok, you’ve probably seen plenty of fitness trainers and coaches, but how do you know if a trainer is legit?

Over the years, I’ve seen hundreds of people start selling training and nutrition programs online with ZERO certifications, real client training, and no supervision.

It’s not only misleading, it’s dangerous.

Helping guide someone’s training and nutrition is a HUGE responsibility and one I don’t take lightly.

So whether you train with me or not MOVE or choose another plan, here’s why you should make sure it’s with a certified Personal Trainer.

Why train with a certified personal trainer?

A trainer certified through a nationally accredited program such as NASM must complete intensive courses and tests to train in:

  • Basic exercises science
  • The science of human movement
  • Fitness assessments
  • Program design and Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model
  • Training speed, agility and quickness
  • Good nutrition practices
  • Customer interaction and professional development

Like many professions, we need to do some continuing education to ensure we are up to date on the latest techniques, research and training methods.
