Yonhap (South Korean media) reports that around 2,700 police officers have been deployed to ensure the arrest of ousted South Korean President Yoon Seok-yoel goes off without incident.
Yoon’s Dec. 3 martial law triggered a warrant for his arrest.
It is uncertain whether Yoon’s protective squad will allow authorities to serve an arrest warrant.
Meanwhile, Acting President Choi ordered swift and bold implementation of market stabilization measures if necessary.
